For our group project this module we were instructed to make a video about gender stereotypes in our world today and how people feel about them. The videos were required to be 5-10 minutes long with interviews from people we know and what they thought about stereotypes.
My Group Reflection:
Members- Myself, Buggy, B-Rad, Brooke, Cam, Bailey, Tasha, and Sam
I believe that my groups project was done pretty well. We worked hard together, put a lot of time into it, and were very diverse with who we interviewed. The video was very clean and audible so there were no confusions with our content in the video. Everyone was constantly putting their ideas in the pot and we worked off of those to improve our video's quality in the long run. I believe our group had very good questions that were easy to build off of for the people we interviewed and our choosing of the answers we were given to put in the video were very good.
Some complications our group had in the video would be that some of our camera shots were done poorly and heads were cut off which could come across tacky. As well as keeping the set up of our interviews where we switched the type of shots we took for every person interview. We should've stayed constant.
The tech part of the project was very easy to learn for the group because Imovie is very user friendly and you can find instructions online for anything you don't know. It was just a very tedious process in the sense that we'd have to go through every video twice and clip the beginnings and ends which seemed like it would never end. But there were very few to no complications with the technical aspect of this project.
